Bomba Talu / 3 Waves
A study of the form from event presentation on the internet
2022-ongoing
multiple series
The project used various data documentation such as video and the body experience about Bomba Talu. Bomba Talu has been narrated in folklore based on the actual events when three waves hit the coastal area in Palu Bay. Bomba Talu presented the concept of happening by transforming time-body-space into the processed material in the network.
Artist Statement
Bomba Talu is a study of the presented possibilities of reality distilled into data in the network. It departs from the premise that the internet is a pataphysical space provoking the imagination and distorting reality, including form.
